Docks and yards on the Intracoastal side of Beverly Beach
West of A1A, Beverly Beach homes sit between the road and the Intracoastal Waterway. Many have a yard running down to the water, and some a dock or a seawall.
What the water side goes through
- Tides and boat wakes along the seawall and the shoreline
- Wind across the open water onto screens and lanais
- Dock boards and pilings in sun and salt
- Grass and plantings near the water after heavy rain
Out of sight from A1A
From the road, an Intracoastal home shows its front and its drive. The yard, the dock and the shoreline all face the water; a set taken on the open grounds, or a drone flight, brings them into view for an owner far away.
A drone video over the water side
One flight takes in the roof, the yard, the dock and the shoreline, with the waterway beyond, from the road to the far bank.
When owners want a look
- During the fall king tides
- After a strong northeaster or a named storm
- Before a dock or seawall contractor comes out
