Beverly Beach oceanfront property: street side, dune side and air
An oceanfront house in Beverly Beach has two faces. The front looks onto A1A; the back looks over the dune to the Atlantic. An owner who lives elsewhere needs to see both.
The street side
From A1A, a photo set shows the front of the house, the drive, the garage and the roof line, with the stairs of a raised house. It is the side the neighbors and passing drivers see.
The dune side
Behind the house, the deck, the walkover and the dune take the wind and spray straight off the ocean. Photos from the open grounds show the railings, the screens and the walkover as they stand.
From the air
A drone video starts over A1A and moves out over the roof to the dune and the beach, showing the whole lot in one pass. On a narrow oceanfront lot it is often the clearest single view.
When to take a fresh look
- After a winter northeaster
- Before and after a named storm
- Before you arrive for the season
- Before a contractor quotes on the deck or the walkover
